A resounding yes from Maguindanao residents emerged in the recent plebiscite to divide the province. What are its implications?

Both houses of Congress have passed a bill seeking to postpone the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections originally set December 5 this year. But poll watchdogs are opposing this as it is tantamount to disenfranchising voters.

The recent appointment of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin as the new executive secretary and the creation of the Office of the Presidential Chief of Staff are raising some questions related to the handling of President Bongbong Marcos' daily affairs. Separately, there is also the existing presidential management staff.
